My weekend was mostly XXX.

On a spur of the moment I decided to enter my first car show. It was at one of the two last remaining XXX drive in restraunts in the US. I would estimate two hundred cars & trucks. No 67-72 trucks though. The show was put on by the Vintage Car Shows' Lance Lambert. I personally did not come home with any awards. What I did get out of it was the satisfaction of people that appreciated and enjoyed what I have done with my old truck. Here a few pics of the show. The last pic is the fullfilment of a pre restoration promise to my girl. I told her we would go to the drive in movies when I finished the truck. It was a special weekend all around. Enjoy the pics.

Some people are like Slinkies... not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Looks like you had a fun day. Your truck look great. Will you be there for the all truck show in July?

I like that last pic. nothing like taking our trucks to a drive in, pulling in backwards, & spreading out on a blanket in the bed.
