D44 year

Is there a way to determine what year a D44 was made ?..........Thanks...........Zoomy

Yes, get the BOM number off the axle tube. It is stamped on the tube just to the right of the pumpkin when looking under the truck from the front.

oh, and you will probably need some sandpaper and WD-40...but good luck, it can be found.

once you have the #, go to www.drivetrainsuperstores.com and enter it in their Dana decoder.
