I didn't have to notch mine. My roll pan is a Mar-k product though.

here's where it hits. the pan doesn't drop in the middle near the plate, it stays the same all the way across.

That roll pan has one big plate box. Looks like you will have to notch the bed rail. |

i dont quite get that pic.....it appears the platebox is behind the pan itself??, and why is it so deep? at any rate, if the second pic is taken witht he rollpan at the same height as your first pic that could be your problem. that pan needs to be up farther another 2" or so so that your body line lines up. that will pull the pan out farther and probably allow your plate box to sit flush against that rail. hope this helps.

i just quick clamped it where it stopped itself. i don't know why it's so deep. now i'm debating even welding it up . i might try to get the kind "bigarmzz" has that slants down in the middle.

see if you can slide it in from the top somehow, if it won't take where the plate box goes on and make it recess in the rollpan less, just some ideas

it won't go anyway i try it. looks like it's time to cut either the bed or the plate box on the pan .

I cut the part out of the bed on mine, and mine is a Mark-K no big deal to cut it, and mine lines up pefectly after I cut that piece out. So I'd say cut away. Just not to much.
