I think you can get them most every truck parts supplier. They all sell the same kind if it is a good kit. ACC is the carpet co. Check out www.GMCpauls.com or www.mothertruckers.net I think they bother carry them.
Aaron (Never mind the jibberish above, it belongs somewhere else)

Long Roof, he was talking only about the A/C, meaning the air cond system. LandArts, did the roof air have a channel along the roof back to the rear unit? Maybe it had an underdash unit once. Sounds like it has good potential, especially if the 396 is stock. Check the glove box sticker to see if the engine is original. Most likely, it is, since most 396s were taken out, vice put in. And could you more specifically describe the area that has rust? Have you checked the front floors, cab supports, kick panels, and the rocker's door rubber lip for rust? The floor mats/carpet often hides much.

I have no clue how this post got on this thread. This post is supposed to go on the 'New pics of the burban' thread. I will move it over.

LR, I just saw it over there. Makes more sense there.
Good advice, either place, though.

The reason it has no A/C vents in the dash is because in '71 you could get the "roof a/c". It has the blower in the back, with the tunnel that runs all the way to the front. My 71 has the same thing, and it works fairly good except you have that big tunnel down the whole roof. If you have access to a 1971 owners manual, you can read about it.
This burb sounds just like mine. 1971 C-20 custom deluxe, 402, A/C, tach dash... |

Right, 402, not 396. Important when checking the glove box sticker.
