Those look like the seats that Foose from Overhaulin' put into that old yellow/gold Chevy pickup on that one show. I don't have any pictures handy, but the layout looks almost exactly the same. I like 'em. Not bad for the price. Wonder if it's a traight bolt up? Nice find.

The thing about JC Whitney, IMHO, is that they can have the highest quality, name-brand product on the same page as the "As Seen On T.V." look alike, and you'll never be able to decipher the differences from the description given.

The project truck I was talking about is called Butterscorched. It's a '53 GMC and pictures can be found here:
http://www.overhaulin.com/gallery21.aspx Here's a picture for reference - the design is really close. I 've always wanted to know where these seats came from :|

Just noticed that a minute ago - that's a good price for the seats shown. I agree I wish they'd give more information, but ... ah well! Wouldn't mind getting a pair in tan. Hell, they look great. Bet they're comfortable too.

Well I just sent an e-mail to the guy that did Butterscorched and requested info on the seats. When and if I get a reply back I will post it.

I can't tell from looking at the pics but I've got two extremely important words for you..."HEAD RESTRAINTS" They are a must. I've been living with 2.5 years of neck/shoulder pain and have permanent hearing damage as a result of being rear ended in my 71.
The hearing issue is actually from nerve damage due to whiplash. I didn't even know that was possible until after many visits to specialists.
