Rescue Mission Accomplished, FINALLY!
On the 4th try, the Burb From Hell is parked on the foul line of the basketball court that the kids sometimes let me use for a driveway. A HUGE thanks to Bill (Chevydad) and his HEMI for making it ALL possible. Thanks also to Robin at the Little Orleans MD Exxon for the parking spot for 2 days. Thanks to EVERYONE on the board who helped along the way. CASE CLOSED, Mike

All Greek To Me
Guys,
I really feel kind of ashamed because I read all the info that Moneyguru and others took their valuable time to share with us and I must say that I STILL don't have ANY IDEA what any of that stuff means. All this shrinking and percentages and stuff makes my head spin. I am REALLY bummed out because I would LOVE to share all kinds of pictures with you guys but I have to admit that I am WAY WAY WAY behind on technology. I can take an old Chevy apart and put it back together blindfolded with my hands tied behind my back, but I can't even post a stupid picture. That's downright frustrating. I think I am going to have to write it down on good old fashioned paper and try to do it line by line. And I thought getting this Burb home was tough! I guess once I get the hang of it I'll be alright. I'm REALLY paying for being ANTI-COMPUTER all these years! Well, I'm off to take my buddies wife (long story) to the Toby Keith concert. I will catch up with one of you computer wizards one day soon and you can walk me through it. Take care, Mike

members hookin up members...that's what it's all about!
A HEMI truck huh...you didn't expect good gas mileage did you? I had a bud haul me from Columbus to Kalamazoo...that sucker drank 150 bucks worth of petro. Call me crazy, but I expected more than 10 MPG. Last edited by Longhorn Man; 07-02-2005 at 09:17 PM. |

Since this one lookes like a street truck, i always tend to forget it is a 4X4...maybe that's where it lost the MPG.

Joe: Thanks, I think I can get the kids to show me how to send them to you, and maybe when you have time, you can give ME a little lesson on posting them.
I'm working on 1 hour sleep, I will catch the rest of you guys later. Take care, Mike
