Question differential gears

Just a quick one..

Does anyone know what the break-in time is for some new differential gears?

Typically about 500 miles of easy driving will be enough. No towing or hot rodding during this time. Also, be sure to make short trips the first few times out (~15 miles) and allow the rear end to cool completely before continuing.

Change fluid after those 250-500 miles and you are good to go.

Good advice but keep your first 2-3 trips under a mile and let cool completely.
