Rear Wheel Housings

I want to remove and clean up my rear housings .. there rust growing in the crevace where the 2 bolt together on the top .. It looks pretty straight forward .. unbolt and pull off ... . what size carriage bolts are used ??..id like to replace them while im at it

any tips would be appreciated

The carriage head bolts used to hold the tub to the floor are 5/16-18 x 1" long.

They are a 5/16-18 x 3/4" long with a washer that is staked onto the bolt, (similiar to a fender bolt).

PS: When you reassembly it use a good sealant in between the surfaces that mount together to keep water out.
