Lift or Drop without Power Steering???

Wondering if this is a good or bad Idea. Might I get myself killed doing this? Seems to me like it would be a little harder on the old forearms being higher off the ground trying to muscle every corner.

You might get better responces if you give more info. What are you working on? 2wd or 4wd? Do you want bigger tires when lifted or wider if dropped? Are you asking this for a reason or is it just a thought running thru your head?
