Hollander's Manual Anyone?
Does anyone have a Hollander's manual, or know the part number for a power steering pulley for a 67 Chevy with a 283 in it? My friend has a 67 C-10 with a 283 and we're having trouble getting the collect power steering pulley for it. To our knowledge, it should be dished to set the pulley back closer to the pump. If anyone knows the part number, or can tell us what other pulleys should interchange with it, he would really appreciate it.
Thanks.

I can get you the GM part number, or at least what the part number was back in the day. I'll post it tonight.
Bob

Hollander won't show pully interchange or at least the many assorted books/discs I have won't however the pump is a different story. The devil in the details says switch pulleys, brackets and resevoir as necessary. I dought chevy still has it but it's worth a try.

Your part number should be 3791943. Applications are:
63-67 Series 10-30 (exc. 292) 68-69 Series 10-30 (8 cyl)(exc. 350, 396) 68-69 Series 10-30 (6 cyl)(exc. 292, A.I.R.) 70 Blazer 70-72 All, Blazer (250) Outside Diameter is 5 3/4" Do you have a pic of the PS pump mounting bracket? There are a couple of different ones but I've never paid attention to if the pulleys were different. Is your pump bracket for a short water pump setup? If you have one from a 73-up, it will be different. Bob

Thanks for the part number, we went checking at a few stores, haven't found anything yet. Last ditch effort is to try GM, and some salvage yards, but they don't have anything that old around here. Does anybody happen to have one of these that my friend could buy off you? If so, post a pic so he can make sure its the one he's looking for.
Thanks.
