I thought the 6.0 had individual coils like my 2000 5.3l did Maybe he put in an LT1?
The 250 dollar price he is quoting was for a used 6.0 that needed to be re-built. It is not hard to find these motors for $1500-2000 which is a bargin for the power and effeciency.

No that is a 6.0 LS1 just like your 5.3. It DOES have coil on cyclinder factory but that guy swapped the ignition over to a megasquirt system.

I've talked with him some and he seems like a nice enough guy, however his install looks like a rats nest and I wouldn't be taking that thing on a long trip.


With half a brain and some time you can have a nice looking install that joins form and function.
