Smile 68 Chev Fender.

I have a 1968 Chevie fender for the drivers side to sell. This fender is in exceptionally good shape and is currently painted Snow White. I took it off of my 1972 GMC as it didn't fit as well as I wanted it to. I also have some interior door panels with the woodgrain pattern in Brown and light Beige. These are in very good shape as well. I am located in London Ont Canada and will be at the truck nationals in 2 weeks if anyone is interested. Thank You.

Pics would help since the 67-68 Chevy fenders are unique and will not work with any other grille.

I have a digital camera but don't know how to post the pics from it. This fender has the marker light so I know its a 1968 for sure. I only changed it out as it didn't fit my GMC that well. I can send it via e-mail but not on line.

Any 68 fender with a marker light will fit a GMC. Are you sure it is not a later 69-72 Chevy fender?

Do not forget the lonely GMC grille that it will fit up to 72 dude!
Here are two shots of 69 -72 Chevy fenders. Note the double ridge to accept
the full Chevy 69-72 grille surround.

I will send pics to one of you guys so you will know for sure which one it is. I didn't like the way my hood was up just a bit too high for me so I replaced it with a 1971 GMC fender and have a better fit. Almost had it sold recently to a man with a 1972 Chev and their was a difference on the front part where the grill goes on. Anybody wants to write off the side here I will send them pics as they may be better at this then me. ID'ing that is. Whom ever wishs may write me direct as I will reply to them.

I only got one picture from you.
I didn't have to resize it or anything. You can upload attachments by hitting the large "Post Reply" button at the bottom of the posts. Then you hit "manage attachments" in the next screen, and you can attach pictures that you have saved to your computer's hard drive.

I will repost a front pic of this fender when I can borrow another camera as mine has had the computor part of it go south on me. fortunately its a new Nikon Coolpix 5400 under warranty but will be away for 4-6 weeks at Nikon. This fender did have a c/10 emblem on it when I bought the truck years ago but the hood didn't quite close right at the rear by the cowgrill. Sorry for the delays. Barrie

Thanks again for you help. Thank you also for the comments on my truck. Thats my Texas Blueglass which is No. 126 of 292 built with the Blueglass option. The glass serial no.'s are 1A1120 which is almost impossible to find anywhere. It came to Canada in 1991 and has been in my posession ever since. I am running a 355 with original 292 heads and a lot more, Competition cam, Edlebrock hi-rise intake, fluid damper,TK flat top pistons and is fully balanced and blueprinted also. It has 3" stainless dump pipes coming off the Headman headers which end 6" behind the cab. Virtually no restriction at all and a stage 2 TH400 tranny with a 2600 B&M stall behind it. It does move along quite well and is a lot of Fun. I restored this truck back to its original colour which is the Factory White. You just have to have some fun.
