Steel horse seats

I ran across these seats on the net and was wondering how they would look in a 67-72. Anyone used or saw these installed before.

That's more than I paid for my truck! Of course, was out cruising yards a couple of months ago, looking for 98 or 99 Ram seats. Didn't find any, so thought to myself, how much could a seat cost new from my friendly local Dodge dealer? Stopped in, parts guy looked at me like I was nuts, said that you couldn't order a complete seat anymore due to warranty replacement b.s. he could only order the pieces and he figured it out by remembering off the top of his head what the major pieces were to build one and looking it up on the terminal. I don't think he remembered most of the little things, but from what he did remember it was $3700. Needless to say, I'm still looking through yards for one.

Man, that is exactly what I want in my truck. At that price it will never happen. I passed on a seat like that a few years ago that needed recovered. I had tempory lapse of common sence. The asking price was $80.00 -recover was $220.00

It wont do for me to get that chance again!!

I have a set of the steel horse in my 71. I like them except for the angle they set at. I am thinking about making a different bracket to raise them up a little in the front. Other than that they are nice. I got them from a outlet guy for $300. Jeff.

I noticed that they plan to use those seats on Project "Copperhead" on Trucks TV. Should be able to get a good idea of how they look and fit.
