Will the newer GMC/Chevy 8 lug wheels from something like 2003 2500HD fit on my 1981 C30?

thanks,

I have Hummer H2 wheels on mine:

I bought the same centercaps as on the maroon truck pictued above and the special lugnuts needed to be able to mount them, but I decided not to use them. Both the hubcaps and the lug nuts are brand new. I'll take $50 shipped (via UPS ground in the lower 48). I paid about double that!

Hummer wheels are the cheapest available, and they are 17 X 8 1/2. They are on ebay for $300-350 shipped per set all day long! I only paid $150 for my perfect set!

Thanks, I am looking at simmilar wheels as on the maroon truck. $500 with brand new tires. With center caps. I have big and wide tires right now on the Turbine wheels.

I am looking for somethign that can give me better gas milage and power on towing. Not sure how H2 wheels will give me that.

thanks,
steve k

Yep! 8 lug has been the same for a long while! Here's my 71 burb with those wheels on it:

And here is the writeup I did on what lug nuts you need to run the center caps and how I dealt with the big FF hub on the rear end.

you need special lug nuts if you are going to use the caps, got mine off e-bay for $40, but well worth every penny
