Headers for a Lowrider

I have a 71 SWB with a 350CId and 700r4 tranny. I have a 7/4 drop on my truck. With full length headers as any of you lowriders would know they are very close to the ground. I need to know if any of you have use an alternate header. I'm looking for a shorty header because block huggers go straight down and don't think they would clear the crossmember. I was thinking of using the S10 V8 conversion headers from hedman but i would hate to buy them and have them not fit and not be able to return them. My last alternative would be to use manifolds but who wants a hotrod truck with stock style manifolds any suggestions would be appreciated.

thassalottafrontdrop.....SWEET!

You could use some corvette rams horns.....they are bigger than the truck rams horns, and unless you reely have a runner, they should flow good enough. PICS?

Sanderson makes these bad boys. No clearance problems for me!!! The headers are only 4 1/2 inchs from the bolt holes to the collector. There are more pics on my website.
