64 4x4 Question

I Found A 64 3/4 Ton 4x4 Im My Local Pull-a-part Today. Is It A Napco Or Was Gm Making Factory 4x4s Then. I Can Get The Whole Truck For $400 And It Is Missing The Lockouts On The Frontend, left Rear Axel And The Body Is Junk. I Looked The Frame Over Good And It Is In Great Shape. Is This Truck Worth Buying? Thanks

It's probably not a NAPCO, GM was making 4X4s in 1/2 and 3/4 ton versions from 60 on. 1 tons and larger were still NAPCOs or other conversions at this point except for the KV-4000. $400 is a decent price for a guy doing a conversion to 4X4 if the frame is in good shape.

This is a good price for a decent frame transfer case and everything else that is needed to do a factory conversion. Be sure to save the vehicle ID tag and get a title if available.

Thanks for the replys. I will not be able to get the title for it, this place will not sell a complete vehicle.the frame on this thing was in great shape, I am leaning towards buying it, but Ireally do not need another project.
