82 brake booster...

I have an '82 brake booster from a chevy truck that my dad found for me. Just wondering if it will be usable in my '68. The master cylinder lines up to its front. That booster is HUGE....but if it works it works. I know that I might need to rig some stuff so it works out...any experience with these boosters??

I tried one out of a 74, one of the big ones. The shifter on the end of the colum hit the booster when I tried to put it in park. If you got floor shift it will probably work. Mine is a 68 cab.

dont slam the hood

check first!my booster is factory for a 67 and it touches my cowl hood, so i would be very careful with a larger size. dont think ya want any dents in the hood.
