What I think you are referring to are actually half covers that go on top of the headlight, but they do make the entire thing look chrome. My advise to you would be to let your fingers do the walking, probably your cheapest alternative is to get them locally, try speed shops etc......

You talking about this? (my high beam)
I got mine from LMC, but one rusted out after about 18 months of the daily grind. It was probably a rock that chipped it and started the cancer.

Located right here in Kansas City.
Sometimes they are a bit higher price on parts but they usually have everything for these old trucks.

If your local parts store doesn't have them, they should be able to order them if you don't wanna go through LMC for some reason. I think that Transdapt and/or Mr Gasket makes them as well.

J.C. Whitney would have them for about 1/2 the price of others. (until you get to the shipping charges)

These are available almost anywhere though.

Would love to find some polished stainless steel ones myself. Anyone know where?

You might want to check the law in your state first. My son got stopped by a Kansas highway patrol and got a $54 dollar ticket for having them on his truck. The state statue says that you can't have anyting reflectvive covering any part of the headlight. LMC catalog used to state that they were for off road use only but the guy at LMC told my son that were legal in the state of Kansas. They took them back and refunded his money when he went in and showed them the ticket that he got. That's my $.02 worth.

Old Dave...out

Dave has a good point, and I'd like to add that they DO block some light...that is why I only have them on my high beams.
Another one I have gotten grief about is the blue dots in my tail lights...even though the Harley the cop was on had them. It turns out...motor bikes ARE aloud to have blue dots, but all other motor vehicles (in ohio) are NOT able to have them on the street.
Really blows huh?

Yep, no blue dots in Pa either.

Isn't that ridiculous? Look at all the bone head stuff these ricers put on their junk and we can't use blue dots?

Maybe I'll have to settle for lighted window washer sprayers or lighted tire valve fill caps?

I wish they would outlaw those 4' high wings on these little POS cars most of all.
