Removing the Tranny?
I can't even loosen one of the bolts on the tranny to separate it from the engine. I have put penetrating oil on it and its still a b****. there is not enough room to get a cheater bar on it. Any ideas?

Use PB Blaster to lubricate the bolts...several coats might be necessary.

I usually drop the crossmember and lower the tranny and then use a couple of extensions with a breaker bar or my impact tool, be sure the distributer cap clears the firewall and the fan clears the radiator, and be sure to support the engine.

i usually yank the tranny while it's attatched to the engine. Much easier to split em on a bench or on the floor

Quick solution that will benefit you for years.
I had the same problem. I went out and bought one of those right-angle impact wrenches and hat to blast mine off. PB wasn't do crap. I bought a new compressor while I was at it. Total cost: $200. I could have borrowed one from a friend, but ... needed my own stuff. Didn't need anything fancy, just something to use in the garage. Someone stole my old one.
