Changing from Powerglide to 700r4... What do I need?
I have a powerglide. The aluminum one but I don't like it. I am buying a 700r4. Actually I payed for it and it is getting rebuilt and delivered within two weeks. Do any of you guys know what I need as far as parts and where to get them to make the swap? My truck is a 68 short step. 305.... I just don't want to get started on the project and find that I don't have what I need and need to wait on more parts...
Thanks Gary |

look in the FAQ or do a search (notice the new google search deal?) This has been covered like every month for 5 years. Good luck to you.
