Hello From An Iowa Farmer

i have a 1996 k1500 longbox extended with a 5.7, a 1992 k1500 extended shortbox 350, and a 1949 3100 5 window.

i am always looking for new ideas to keep my pickups running. i am excited about finding this board, and hope to get repair and maintainance tips to keep um truckin as long as i can. i just paid $650 for a new fuel pump installed in the 1996, so i decided to do more repair work myself.

i am also am looking for ideas on restoration.

Welcome! Those Fuel pump/sensor units get salty. We had it done on our`99 S10.About the $ame.We had the 100,000mile tune-up ater the coil wire burned-out @ under 90,000mi.That cost $5-600.I`ve gone back to doing more work on my drivers, too.
