Need help-key switch
I just bought a 76 4x4 for $275. The reason it was so cheap was because the guy had lost the key
 . My question is, can I remove the key switch without having it in the run position? Any other ideas?

Locksmith? Have him/her pick the lock so you can get it into the run position.
