Wanted - 67 Chevy Delux Horn Button and cigarette Lighter Knob - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hi All,

Trying to finish up the small detail work on my 67, and I am looking for a 67 Chevy horn button (the chrome one with the clear glass/plastic center)

I have found a correct 67 lighter element with knob (Thanks Jose)

Any leads for the Horn Button would be great!!!!!

I added pictures of what the cap and lighter look like. Thanks!!!!!

Do you have a pic of what your looking for? I have a horn cap, chrome body with a clear acrylic center, has "Chevrolet" and I think the word "Division" below it in the parts shed. Does that sound like what your looking for? As I recall the plastic center is good but does have some light pitting in the chrome. I will dig it out tomorrow after work when I get home and post a pic. May be later tomorrow evening if I have to work over.

Not either one, it is the one in the upper right of the picture.

Does anyone have the horn retainer cup for the 67' 68' steering wheel? I've tried one from a 71' but it's too shallow. The 67' 68' is deeper.

John Fabris I have the 67 lighter with the custom knob . Looks like the lighter has never been used and it looks like new condition 25.00 plus the ride

Is the retainer cup that you are looking for like the one I circled? I will look on my '67 column. The steering wheel was folded in half & the center cap poped out, but the retainer might still be there. PM me tomorrow & REMIND me. I will look tonight. If I have it I will send it to you.

EDIT: I guess it would help if I attached the PICTURE?!?!?!)

That's the one Putter. I believe there is a difference between the 67-68 retainer and the retainer used from 69' to 72'.

Here are a couple pics of the horn button. It is in "as removed" condition, a little cleanup and polish will make it shine. There is not any noticeable pitting and only one small tab is broken, it still mounts securely to the wheel. Let me know, Thanks!!!

I got so caught up in finding and purchasing parts, that I forgot to introduce myself.
I've been lurking around here for a little while, and I'm amazed at the wealth of information, and knowledge about these trucks that we all love!

My '67 steering wheel does have the retainer. And the wheel is a three spoke exactly like the one in the very first post of this thread. I removed it and have it in my truck.
PM me with the mailing address and we can see what a trip up north will cost!!!!
You can HAVE the retainer, but what does it cost to go to Canada????? Never shipped past Virginia before!!??!?!?!?!
