good times gone bad for my gmc

well I was at a 4x4 get together and there was only one other chevy and a buch or crazy done up jeeps well we are doing trails and things and hanging out . Then for some reason these guys started getting cocky as all hell. Like a full size truck cannot do half what a jeep can well. Needles to say we started hooking em up The gmc pulled them all with ease. (lockers front and back then we go do some trail action I trumped them on everything .
Then again they are talking like jeep is god so, There is one bad ass hill that no one has ever made it up without being winched. Well no one still has made it as I caught some good traction and BAMO !!!! freggin truck stands right up and flips over down the hill. It's pretty bent up.I did manage to drive it out of there but it's not happy Only good thing was I did not get hurt. Knew it was going over and layed down on the seat. And the jeep fools were like ok you are crazy and that truck is bad ass if you will take on all that stuff without thinking twice and drive it after flipping it 2 ways. Will post some picks when my pops tows it home for me later. Happy 4 wheelin stay safe !

WOW you did a great job. Kick that roof up, weld in some roll bars, and show them jeeps guys what a GMC is made of . Or you can make a 4x4 convertible .

Important thing is your OK...now have fun with it .

I have had that thought already use a highlift jack, put a plexi window in it roll bar and BAMO !! Buck truck. However the drivetrain is so sweet in that truck, I just best find a 2wd lb with a cherry body and throw it up on there. + I need it and use it regular

I think it will buff out If your not concerned with looks, just cut the top of the cab off a donor truck and weld it back on. That gives you a nice frame for your windshield again.

Oh yeah, add a roll bar and go get the freakin Jeepers....
