mine has been jumping back and forth when ever im driving and makes an annoying ticking sound, is it just needing some lube...cause i dont feel sudden acceleration and deceleration

Sounds like you need to lubricate the cable.

Mine does the same thing. I did not have the seal that keeps the tranny fluid from getting pumped upo the cable. So I had a huge puddle of tranny fluid on my floor. I dont think Lube is the answer. I think it's somthing in the speedo.

normally it is the cable being dry.
