Pic of my new 2wd 72 blazer

Just thought I'd share a pic of my blazer. It was actually a converted 4 wheel drive. It is very solid. It has been in texas the last 3 years, but was originally a California truck. The car has never has had any major rust. The only rust I have found on it is just a little surface under the front inner fender below the battery. It has the basic 350 with a intake and headers, with a tci turbo 350, 2100 stall and only has about 1000 miles on the tranny. The truck drives great. Anyway , let me know what you think.

Nice. you said it was converted... did they keep the leaf springs or did they put the coil spring setup on it? I'm asking because I'm wanting to put the coil rear on a 4wd chassis for my Blazer. If it is converted to coil, I would love to have some pics of that.

wheels and my camaro

I agree with the wheels, I love the way these look with the big wheels. I would probably only go with 18's. I would like to slam it a little more, but will see. This truck might actually be my wifes daily driver. That was her decision. I bought the truck because it was a good deal and I thouht I might sell it for a few thousand profit. but my wife said whe wanted to keep it. I couldn't pass that up. So we are going to sell the 2000 maxima that she drives and she'll be cruizin in the blazer.... My daily driver used to be a shortbed 72 that had a 4/6 drop. Now it is my 6.0L ls1 w/ t-56 68 camaro. It will be for sale soon though if anyone is interested. Check it out next to the mule...

So what does a ls1 t56 68 camaro go for these days? Just curious.

Great looking truck and that wife of yours must be a real sweetheart. Wow, she wants to drive the blazer. Some guys have all the luck.

I sold it!!

Well I sold the Camaro. Now I am going to focus on the blazer and maybe buying a shortbed SWB 72. We'll see what I can find....
I think the first thing I am going to do is drop the blazer another 2" and add some 17x8 in the front w/ 255/ 50 and some 17x9.5 with 275/50 in the rear. I am thinking Torq Thrust II's. I know they are over done, but they look so damn good.

very nice 2WD Blazer. What does it take to convert a 4x4 to 2WD? I want a 2WD but they are difficult to find and are big dollars when you find them.
