Newbie from SD

Hey all,

I've been checking out this place for awhile, so I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Brett, and I recently bought a 1970 c10 stepside! Right now she has a 250 with a 3 speed manual on the floor. In the near future I plan to put my 355 from my 67 chevelle, and put a Big Block in my velle!!!!

As soon as I figure out how to post some pics, I will.

You guy's and gals have a great site!!!!

Brett

Hey Brett,
I'm new here to. This is a great site. I have a 62 stepside, 235 w/ 3 on the tree. I'm currently in Iraq with some guys from SD attached to us. They tell me the salvage yards in your state are awesome. Maybe I'll give you a shout when I need something. Take care, Jeff

Hello to both of you from Pierre, SD. Brett, posting pics is easy, check the faq section. There is a write-up about it.

Jeff...Tell the boys from SD hello...And you all are doing a great job. I can only imagine what it must be like. All of you be safe as possible.

Welcome!
ahhh goodie, more Dakotans! I am originally from the Rapid City area but in FL now.
jeff, let everyone know including them dakota boys that we are behind them 110%!

the salvage yards in SD are second to none... i found parts on vehicles that had almost mint body with a blown engine.. or vice versa. I know if I ever need parts for my burb, I will contact some friend's in RC and have whatever i need sent down.

Thank you

Hey Guys, the guys in my unit and myself thank you for your support. It really means alot to us knowing folks backhome care. When we know our loved ones are being looked after and helped by Family and Friends it allows us to concentrate more on our work here so we can all come home together. Bett I will take you up on your offer for parts, in fact I am looking for a hood. Could you e-mail me or im me and we can meet so to speak. Thanks again and take care, Jeff.

Hi Brett, welcome from Brookings. Jeffbo is a member from Huron who goes to school over here at SDSU. I think he goes back to Huron quite often.
