4 inch lift on a 72 4x4

what shocks are available? i need part no. and where to get em. will i need to lengthen my front driveshaft?i want a really soft ride. the lift consist of leafs springs front and back. the truck is a 1/2 ton long bed 4x4 with a 350/350 combo

1983 K20 w/ CUCV axles, 350/700R4/208 sitting on 37" Goodyears
1986 M1031 6.2 diesel, TH400/NP205 locker in the rear and a LS in the front, all stock for now.....
1986 K30, 350/400/205 dana 60 and 14 bolt. I kept the drivetrain. Body/bad and chassis are gone.
1981 K30, 350/465/205 dana 60 and dually 14 bolt. Has a G80, and a flat bed. Going to replace the flat bed.

1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm

search ebay for lift kits. Then look at several sellers online stores. I bought many of my parts that way. Much cheaper and usually from the same sources many buy from, even factory items direct.

The Skyjacker Softride 4" is awesome. I have trouble believing how well my truck rides. The only problem w/ it is it is too soft & flexible to haul much in the way of any kind of load. My solution was to add some custom Firestone airbags from a 40' flat bed trailer. With little or no air in 'em the bags it functions nornally. With 25-40 psi in the airbags it'll carry a regular 3/4t load. Was a heck of a lot of work fabbin' up the mounts, though.

The only pics I have on the web don't show the suspension & airbags too well nor do they show how well the tires fit the wheel wells (shadows obscure the relevant stuff.) I'll see if I can take some tomorrow & get 'em posted here.
