I want to put cruise into my 72, I have a servo and a switch from an 84 truck but i would need to find the wiring diagram to make it work(does anyone have a diagram?) or should i go with aftermarket? If so who makes one?

I have installed the Audiovox cruise control but have not been able to get it to work.

The 84 setup that I have is a lot different, due to the fact the servo mounts on the fender and a cable runs to the carb, it has 5 wire hookups on it, i can probably make it work if i can find out what each of the wires is for. do you have any pics of your braket you made for vacum kill swicth?

I wish I had taken a picture of the kill switch bracket before I mounted it. It's not visible without a little disassembly. It would be difficult to reproduce unless you have access to a milling machine, as it was milled out of a block of aluminum. You could probably make a bracket out of a piece of 3/4 x 3/4 angle. You'd have to find a couple of nuts to hold the switch onto the bracket though. I put threads in my bracket, and slotted it so that the bracket pinched down on the switch to keep it in place. You could probably use the stamped sheet metal nuts from a stock brake light switch.
