Ram's horns - will they fit?

I need to know if the angled dump ram's horns will fit in my '77 blazer without any modifications. I know the straight dump ones you have to cut on the engine mount.

Has anyone else used these in a 73-87?

I want to use them because I have some shorty style headers on it now and the header ping annoys the hell out of me. I also want to know if it will have any effect on my gas mileage. I don't really go over 3k rpm so I'm not concerned about losing any power in the upper range.

Thanks in advance,

Ben

Bodydropped, is your dad's 79 2wd or 4wd? Just want to make sure, since I didn't mention that mine is 2wd.

Sweet!

Thanks guys, I was hoping they would work.

So where would be the best place to get them? I saw some new ones for $100 on ebay but I don't know if they're any good or not.

Ben

AFAIK, people go with the straight one because they were available in a 2.5" but the angles ones are 2.25. I like the looks of these aftermarket ones...

Ben

If you dont have a pair I wouldent bother with them. Get a set of tubular "tuned" manifolds from a 20/30 series. Much better then ram horns with the header look but without header problems. Not to mention they are more avalible.
