In your picture it appears that there is no cut-out for the neutral safety switch on the tube (cut-out is up high for a van, and low for a truck). So, because of this and the fact that it has van type levers, some are suspecting that it is a converted later van tilt. Nothing wrong if done correctly but someone still has to fabricate a neutral safety switch into it, to use it as an automatic. Or, do as I did in my last 4x4, bypass the switch altogether . But I have been known to do odd things.

HGS..I was told the upper switch position on the van tilt may get in the way of the brake pedal bracket movement. Why don't you clamp your tilt on real quick and depress your pedals and let us know if it really gets in the way. If not then it won't be necessary to move it. Let us know, I am curious.

I am also curious why this won't work. The truck wires may need to be lengthened?
