Awsome deal....

I was forced to go to the dreaded Auto Zone today, no one had the size freeze plugs that I needed, at least, not in brass, only steel, which rusts out. So i walked in there with rusty plug in hand and the parts guy (who actually seemed somewhat knowledgable) and he came back up with 6 brass plugs. Sweet.
He rings them up....one cent each.
I looked at him like he was crazy, and without even saying a word to him, he says;
Yup, that's the right price...we are getting rid of them, deleting them from the inventory.
6 brass freeze plugs for 6 cents.

You might just want to run out to Auto Zone and get a hand full. Don't ask for a kit, or by aplication... just tell them you want a hand full of X size plugs.

Around here, it's Autozone or O'Reilly's Auto parts. Of the two, I'll take AutoZone any day.

If it was in the computer, and they try to make all stores the same as the others, I'll assume it is across the board....but that IS just an assumption.

A wise move Andy since I had a plug start leaking on my 69 472 Caddy motor and that was no fun to fix installed in the truck.

Even with as cheap/broke as I always am, I NEVER instal an engine with old plugs. All it took was one freexe plug rusting out, and I'll never have it happen again if I have anything to say about it.
