ignition switch removal?
pretty much what the title says how do you remove the ignition switch
from the dash? I am gutting the cab of a 72 thanks

Use a paper clip and insert in hole in switch. With key turn switch to ACC and pull out tumbler. Unscrew bezel by using the 3 notches. Unplug wires from switch.

If you don't have the key, you can pop the sheetmetal faceplate off the front of the tumbler, and drill a 3/16" hole into the tumbler to the left of the key slot. Drill at a slight angle so that the hole breaks through the left side of the tumbler. You can access the locking mechanism with a small screwdriver.
