Beebe, Arkansas............
Is there any members from that area? If so, is Wallace Baker Chevrolet Co., Inc. still there? It would be on hwy 67. This is the dealer where my 1969 SWB was bought new. If it is stll there, are they in the same location? Just woundering. Thanks.

Well, I found the town's homepage, and it didn't list any new car dealers, or any car dealers at all for that matter. I guess it doesn't mean it's not still there.

Yep, Wallace Baker is in Searcy, AR (pronounced SER-SEE). If he ever was in Beebe, and I'm not doubting it, it's been a long time. Searcy would be a good move....nice town. Beebe was almost blown away by a "heck of a tarnader" a few years ago. I don't remember seeing any new car dealerships there in my travels of the past year.

Well, I have the old sleeve from that dealer. That's the only way I know where the truck came from.

race, I'd email the dealership in Searcy and see if Mr. Baker still has some hanging around. They might blow you off, but they might be flattered that someone is interested in their dealership. Worth a shot, nothing to lose...
