Sandblasting spindles
I know you can't sandblast the part of the spindle were the brake disc goes on but I was wondering if I cover that part up if it would be alright to sandblast the rest of the spindle. I wan't to have all my suspension pieces sandblasted, sprayed with primer and painted black, so if there is anything else I should know about the other suspension components before I start doing it this weekend.

Use duct tape to cover the spindle.

Thanks. I got to find out wut is wrong with my sandblaster, it wasn't working today. Maybe I should drain out the old sand and put in new stuff. It has been only sitting in there for three days put i collects moisture in there because i have a pretty funky compresser setup. The tank is and old propane tank the we convert to work as a holding tank for the compresser and sometimes the air still smells like propane.
