Just got my first truck

[edit: added pics]

I just bought a rough '69 GMC stepside. this thing needs everything, but I'm looking forward to the project. I've got a lot of ideas, and so far everything I've seen on this site has added more for me to think about.

Thanks in advance for answering all my stupid questions.

Thanks. It's pretty solid. there's some filler in the passenger side fender, and of course the rockers are rusted. The PO already replaced the passenger side, and it came with a new driver's side floor pan and rocker. The driver's door has a little rust, but I don't think it will be hard to patch. The bed is solid, and the frame is in good shape.
