WOO HOO...progress...not much.

FINALLY got the speedo working again. Turns out is was the small "pencil" gear had a couple of worn teeth on it. I robbed the one from my son's truck to see if that's what it was and yep, that did it. NOW, I will use my GPS to establish how fast I am actually moving compared to the speedo. The bad gear is blue but was off by about 10 I think the PO told me. Now I have a red or pink one in it but haven't checked the speed yet.
Also, got the power booster on. WOW what a diff. The pedal was really high and had the manual brake leg-workout going on. MUCH better now that the booster is on and the pedal is at a much friendlier level.
Also, took my cluster out to see what I did or didn't have in the way of my speed warning set up. Not really sure what I should or shouldn't have. I know I am missing the adjusting cable and the wiring. Is that it?
I haven't totally decided yet if I am going to keep it or not. It really doesn't do me any good without it working and I would rather have a tach, myself. But, I can add an aftermarket tach. Trying to decide if I want to sell it or trade for a tach dash. I need cash for a bed and frame.

Yes. The panel is as it was when I got it. The bezel was replaced and since the cable is missing for the speed warning adjustment, no hole has been drilled.
