Booster help
I picked up a dual booster kit for our trucks on evilbay awhile back ... i was wonder if some out there could measure there stock booster setup ... from the firewall to where the master cylinder mounts to the booster .. i'd like to compare the distance to the dual setup i have before i install it ... im hoping i wont have to redo any of the lines...
anyone running this kinda booster ... i can't wait to get it in

We replaced the single diaphragm booster on our 71 longbed 2 wd with a dual diaphragm booster from a 3/4 ton truck and are very pleased with the way it works. It is not touchy but it stops very quickly if you want it to.
It was an easy swap and we used the existing lines with just a little adjustment. The master cylinder is 11 1/2" from the firewall on our setup. Jim |
