GVWR(gross vehicle weight rating)

Can anyone tell me what the GVWR(gross vehicle weight rating) is for my '82 K-10? I know it's suppose to be on the door jam, but when my truck was painted it became unreadable. I'm going to be moving to Missouri in a couple of months and they base their lift laws on the truck's GVWR. I just want to have an idea ahead of time whether or not I'm going to have to be on the look out for the highway patrol. What has this world come to? Lift laws suck!
