72 door screw question

I have a 67-71 door and found a lead on a 72. I dont want mismatching doors so can I fill in the dimple with the screw in it?

yes, but the 72 door is different do to the door panels being thicker, and that makes some things different.

I installed a 72 door on a 67 a few years back. The only difference other than the obvious dimple is that the mounting holes for the interior door panel do not have the little square nuts like the 67-71 doors have. You can get away with using sheetmetal screws instead of the fat fine-threaded screws with the small heads, or you could try to reshape the holes into square openings and pop the square nuts in.

The mirror mounting holes will be different too.

Yes, you can. The window regulators on the 72 are unique too so you'll have to use pre-72 window regulators too.
