cheyenne couple o pics and questions
knocked off some of the dirt from the 72 cheyenne super i picked up. it has air, tilt, big block, auto and dual spots. one of the spots is missing the end cap, anyone have one of these? someone stole the carb and distributer off it while it was sitting at the previous owners. i will be looking to get a stock carb and an hei for it. i would also like a complete stock air cleaner assembly if anyone has one. lots of plans for her but im kinda wishy washy when it comes to these trucks and i never know whats around the corner that may catch my eye

Mark...CONGRATS on the new ride! You are going to love that truck! I am so glad that you finally got it home and cleaned up...COOL! If you need heads for the big block, I have some great "big-valve" 396 cores! They are yours for the asking.

thanks again for the heads up on this truck mike. i spent the whole weekend moving trucks and parts and on and on. everything that could go wrong did. trailer had a flat. electric winch wouldnt work so i had to pull everything up with a short come along. the trailer kept popping off the ball (thought i had that fixed) until i got the weight way up front. got a couple of loads moved. then my son called and his car broke down he asked if i could come help him and bring the trailer just in case we couldnt get it fixed. 3 hours later it was fixed. on the way home the trailer came off while i was bombing down the highway and ripped the lift jack off thank god the trailer was empty and for safety chains. next my truck was over heating, i figured it was because i was stopping alot and checking the trailer (i ratcheted down the tounge to the ball)... i got home with it. checked the radiator everything seemed ok. i filled it up and this morning loaded another truck up. very difficult to do by yourself when the trailer pops off the ball and there is no front jack limiting how far down the tounge of the trailer drops, etc etc. i was ready to go and noticed water dripping. the lower radiator hose connection has a leak...i put everything away called the guy i was taking the truck to and told him it would have to wait another day or so. went home showered...put the top down on my 61 lincoln...went and grabbed a couple of my nephwews with my wife and took em to a movie. right now im over the trucks for awhile...

Nice truck, but if you have a trailer that pops off the ball, you should cut that thing into little pieces and scatter them all over the state so it could never be put back together again! That sounds like a Death Trap. I sure hope I don't meet you on the open roads.
Seriously, you just can't be safe enough on the highway. Towing is scary enough anyway. I even put electric brakes on all my tow dollies, so I can stop these heavy trucks. |

Nice looking truck, could you tell me what size the tires are? I showed my friend the pictures of it and he likes how the tires fill the wheel well's.
Thanks
