Rare find: 67/68 NOS Grille
I saw this NOS 67/68 front grille at the Carlisle swap meet this past weekend
Not too often you come across something like this. Asking price was $450.00 No, I didn't buy it

I don't think I saw that....
My feet hurt from all the walking.. I think I saw 3/4 of the trucks and about 1/4 of the vendors!

We came in Gate II and I don't think we ventured much to the left of that (as you come in) untill we got to the food court area.
Did you see the Cameo truck? My GF was baffled, to say the least, at my excitement over that. It also took me about 15 minutes to convince her that the Corvair truck was not a custom. LOL

Oh yes... I could easily have dumped several grand. Good thing I came with discipline (and no truck to haul off the sweet set of '99 Silvarado Seats I saw!)
There was a baby-blue 66 short bed that you could have talked me into pretty easy too. Oh.. and don't even get me started on the yellow 70 pro-street truck!

That was a beautiful truck. I stopped and looked at it a few times.
I had no problem not spending too much money here. I didn't bring enough Mike

I saw the Blazer, it was like the last thing we checked out before we left.
It wasn't the swapmeet that wore me out... it was trying to see every last truck on display and in the funfield that wore the 'ol peds to ribons. lol

When I was in Maple Grove, PA a couple of weeks ago they was a guy that had 4 of the NOS 67-68 grills for $200.00 each but I would rather have a nice used one because you would still have to have the two housings that attach to the back side so you would have to buy a pretty good used grill to get these anyway

I feel pretty good! I picked up an entire front clip complete and hood for 200.00 dollars. Virtualy rust free cept under battery area on the rad support. It was off a 68 with full trim.

Thanks. Jim"69oldie"

There was WAY too much there for me to buy and I didn't bring a truck to put it all in! So I went home with just a couple small things.
