I found the info I posted on this web page
http://www.chevy-camaro.com/chevy-ca...gine-codes.asp It shows Corvette???? as a use for the block . The valve size I posted is what they show to have left the factory with . They dont show 1.72/1.5 as a factory offering so they probably arent 1.72's . The stamping is what I always use to determine exactly what it came from since many blocks were used in several different applications . I was just trying to give a little info on the subject . Those valve sizes I stated above, are factory sizes with the 624's. Unfortunately not all data references online are 100% correct. "Corvette" just makes it worth more.
