I havee a 61 lwb chevy that I would like to convert to a short bed. I hear this is near impossible with the X frames. Anyone done this, or is an entire frame swap in order? Thanks.

It can be done........but a 63-72 frame is a direct swap with the newer suspension. Then everything from 63-87 (I think) suspension wise would swap
