i put a 71 1/2 ton 3:73 posi in my 65 carryall w/the gm fluid and additive,on a 5 hour trip it wants to chatter on corners when warmed up ,i even went to a parking lot and done several figure 8s ,still does it ? any ideas? does it need new plates or what? now is this a gm locker "no-spin" i heard that might be what i have? it looks like a gm posi? anybody have any pics of each? thanks mike

The posi in my 1995 Camaro Z28 made strange sounds until I used Mobil 1 synthetic gear lube + the GM additive.
Some say the GM additive is not necessary with the Mobil 1 synthetic gear lube but I did it anyway.

The "no-spin" was an option in the 3/4-1 ton eaton style rear axles. Basically a detroit locker, fits in the carrier.
