Well the time has come to say goodbye. I just don't have the $$$ that is needed to fix her up.

I took a couple of pics tonight, tomorrow first thing in the morning I will make "THE CALL" to have her hauled away. This is not easy to do at all, but not much I can do about it.

Maybe one day, things will start to go my way and I can find another to replace her.

Sorry to hear you have to get rid of your truck. Before you get rid of it, maybe you should sell any useful parts. do you have anygood body parts, I might be interested.

Would like to have seen the pictures in the day time. Looked like it had no roof or any doors. Hard to see. Pictures are too dark. Sorry for your loss.

The cab was removed and disposed of last year. it needed too much work. The box floor is finished also, the sides are not the greatest. I did keep the grill on it, not getting rid of that. I also kept all the interior, including the uncut dash. I also have the doors and other parts. I was going to take the front clip off the truck but I just can't bring myself to it.

I will be going outside and getting some daytime pics.

As for storage, I know it's free, it has been sitting for the last 4 years. Only problem is that it is at my parents( what you see in the pics) and for a few years now I have been getting asked, what are you doing with it, are you getting rid of it, etc... basically he wants everything cleaned up, but alot of his **** is in there ( where it was stored).
I also had Dubie take a look at the truck when he was in town(last year or the year before) and he agreed that it would be better to find a better truck to start with. It has taken me this long to get rid of it. This was the first "old" truck that I bought. Hell I have had it for about as long as I have been with my Fiancé, I bought the truck either the same summer we met or the summer after, and in a few days it will be our 10 year anniversary that we are together.

Actually if you look at the first few pics you will inside the building, that wall with windows I put up so I cold do work in there. It used to be a lean-to, so there was no wall there.

Just sitting here waiting for the place to call back with a time of death, I mean time of day they will show up. So I went out and took a few more pics and moved the truck to be more accessible.

OK, the ol' truck has possiabilities (sp) but think you would be better off with another truck. You would have a ton of money invested in the sentimental truck you have there. Fenders look good.

yeah I saw it last year and it was rough. The previous owner must have thought of himself as a handy bodyman because he did some really off the wall stuff. It had a lot of good parts and Mike also had purchased some patch panels and parts for it. BTW buddy ol pal, if you wanna part with the drop suspension parts, you know who to call eh

HAHA, that was the first thing that came off when I pulled it out far enough to get access.

THEY will sit with the rest of the parts for now. I am still planning on getting another truck.

I have some final pictures and a quick video of it leaving for good, just have to get it off my camera. Maybe later this evening.

Hope you saved the 6 cyl. PS setup (pump, brackets and pullies). I will be needing one someday. (and others). Maybe some other easier parts too.

They made a bunch of our vintage trucks, but as a general rule the numbers are dropping. I have reserected a few vehicles over time but I guess we can't save them all.

Yes it does say Friedpoodle on the side of the trailer, I use that name for my web development and also for my racing ( go-karts). I wanted a name that people would remember and got attention and this name sure does that. I have used that name for about 4-5 years now.

NO I didn't keep any of the PS setup, I actually "borrowed" it from an 83 chev pickup that was given to me.

Ahhh, borrowed storage isn't a very good idea onless you have a backup plan. U kept my junk in my dad's driveway for a while, and a cab at fine69's place.... both wanted them out, so now my storage isn't free anymore.
Storage units aren't cheap around here.

Yep... Also, make sure you have a backup for your backup plan... My 72 Cheyenne is over at KEN72gmc's dad's house right now. His dad wants it and Kens 2 trucks out. I was going to take it over to my other buddies house but his wife is PO'd 'cause the son just brought another car home so there goes that idea and my yard & my dads yard can't hold anymore right now. So I am stuck paying storage until I can find a permanent storage spot for it. My $100 truck is going to get more expensive every month.

Dang!The guy barely paused at the road and just took-off like it was just another load o`junk.When`s he coming back for that Dodge?I had a`69 and it was all rusted-out bad (in`79) before I ever saw rust on a 67-72 GM.
