Question trans fit

ok i have a 700 r4 in my 87 gmc 4x4 i have a th350 siting ready to in stall will this trans fit with no problem i sure hope so and i would like to put in a shift kit but not to sure how it works or how it goes on and what the hell is every one talking about when they say i put in a 2500 stall

Ok.. Here is the deal... I put a th350 in my chev c-30. It was stock with a manual shift. I don't know much about the 700 r4's but I can tell you this.. The th350 is on of the simplest trans to put in a truck. Thats why I chose it over the 700 r4. All thats on the th350 is bolting it up and connecting the speed cable, the detent cable, and the shifter cable.... and of course the two trans lines...Now about the stall converter. I work part time at the Advance store and I can tell you this. Just go up thier and find the old guy.. not the young one poping pimples, working his way through collage. And ask to see thier engine/trans book... All you need to know is in it..

converter

It is going to depend on what size cam, and other internal parts that your engine has in it to determine if you need a stall converter. Do you have the cam size<

i have no clue on the cam size but is going to be up graded soon i want this moter to sit there and do that wooop were u can sit there and here it lobe thats so sweet well i realy need to get the trans fixed first and then for the cam all i do with this truck is 4 whell it and drive to 4x4 events dude this icon is kool
