80's rear into 67-72 frame?

I have a 71 with rear leaf rear end. I also have an 80's model 12 bolt rear. Will it bolt into the 71? I am asking because my son was given a 69 coil reared truck in exchange for some work. I would like to pick up the hangers and springs and put this rear in that truck to have the 5 lug and friendlier gears. I already have a 72 front disk cross member to bolt in that I have been trying to sell here, but something always happens.. and the guys back out.

You can change the spring perches on the 80's axle.
ECE has the brackets or you can just buy mine for $54.00

Then you need the track bar from the ECE also.

I have a 72 rearend that will need carrier bearing repalced. $100.00

Just seeing if it could be done right now. Have to get the truck stripped down to the frame and cut the frame down to short bed then I'll be ready to make a final decision on the rear end. I don't suppose you would have a short frame available?
