1972 Master Cyl Pic needed

Hi All!

I have a question about the master cyl. on a 1972 Chevy C10, 2wd .Power brakes and front disk brakes on the front.

What should the master cyl. look like?

I have seen 2 styles, 1 with rounded cap on both ends, and 1 with 1 rounded end and 1 square end.

I've seen both types on 72 trucks also. I know there were Delco Moraine and Bendix brakes both. I figured it was the difference.

My '72 has the round style master cylinder. As far as I know the master cylinders are not interchangeable as the boosters have a different throw length and pin length between the booster and the master cylinder. Thats why there is so much confusion with these things. I believe I have a bendix in both of my trucks '71 k20 and '72 c30.

I have used the same MC that my 70 292 truck had, this truck came with mechanical brakes. I just bought the booster and the MC fits with no problem. I have not tested yet, do you think is this going to be a problem, i have drum brakes in the 4 wheels.
