Sending the PCM/ECM/ECU/whatever off the be reprogrammed, yep. Those O² sensors are expensive. I want to do something about the exhaust, mines rusting out a bit, I just don't think I'm gonna have the money. The only way I would be able to fork out the money for new exhaust is if the current setup won't fit without me hacking the frame some. I heard that modified vette exhaust will work, but ... haven't seen pictures yet.

By reprogramming the PCM you will be turning off the rear 02 sensors and therefore will not need the o2 simulators.

I don't think that the F-body manifolds will work for you but you can try. The truck manifolds definatly will not. Removing the Cats will give you some extra power either way OR you can just gut them by taking them off and ramming the guts out (it is a ceramic type of fine honeycomb crap).
